Case Study: Minerva Consulting achieves resilient, cost-efficient global pharma launch planning with anyLogistix

A anyLogistix Case Study

Preview of the Minerva Consulting Case Study

End-to-end supply chain management and optimization for a pharmaceutical company

Minerva Consulting conducted a supply chain network study for a small‑to‑medium French pharmaceutical company preparing a 2024 global launch across North America, Europe, China and Japan. Their objectives were to improve stock policy, balance cost and service level, increase resilience to disruptions and reduce costs. To support rapid scenario analysis and reporting, Minerva Consulting used the anyLogistix supply chain design and simulation software to model the network of contract manufacturers, a transit LSP and regional DCs and to run multiple what‑if experiments.

Using anyLogistix, the team built a detailed simulation (transport, production, inventory policies and costs) and tested cases such as bulk inventory policy, batch sizes, disruptive risks and demand variation. anyLogistix helped identify the best performing stock policy (scenario A1: safety stock 500 kg with 1,000 kg initial bulk) as the most financially attractive (profit ≈ 265 M€ and total cost ≈ 29.3 M€ over 2024–2031), showed that savings mainly come from avoiding extra 500 kg bulk batches, and demonstrated that fulfillment stayed at 100% with unchanged lead times across demand scenarios — all results exportable for further analysis.
