Preview of the Danone-Waters in Mexico Case Study

Danone-Waters in Mexico improved beverage supply chain efficiency and increased production capacity

Danone-Waters in Mexico needed to define an optimal manufacturing blueprint to support volume growth while accounting for capacity constraints, line‑level rates, different product specifications, and the OPEX/CAPEX implications across multiple factories and SKUs. To tackle this, Danone-Waters in Mexico engaged anyLogistix, using its ALX supply‑network modeling and digital supply‑chain optimization capabilities to evaluate transportation flows, production restrictions and cost‑to‑serve.

Working with VP Consulting and powered by an anyLogistix custom model, the team ran what‑if scenarios at line and site level across 5 factories, ~20 production lines and 170 SKUs to test new sites and line repurposing. The recommended plan—one new manufacturing site with two lines plus repurposing lines at the main facility—yielded about +13% production capacity, ~5% cost savings and a 2–4 year payback period, enabling data‑driven, agile decisions for sustainable growth.
