Accenture’s Applied Intelligence HSA team helped a US-based exercise equipment brand struggling with COVID-19-driven supply chain disruptions that pushed order-to-delivery times from five days to 60. Using AnyLogic simulation modeling software, the team built a supply chain digital twin to forecast order-to-delivery performance and support smarter inventory planning and execution.

Accenture implemented the AnyLogic-based digital twin with live data connections and Monte Carlo simulation to model vendors, distribution centers, final-mile sites, trucks, and inventory flows. The solution improved order-to-delivery forecasting accuracy by 57%, cut inventory allocation logistics costs by 20%, and raised ETA accuracy from 40% to 76%, with weekly runs taking just 30 minutes.
