Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences boosts website performance with AnyforSoft and scores high in Lighthouse

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS), an international university in the Netherlands, faced a multi-layered challenge with its outdated website. The platform was not mobile-friendly, had an imprecise search engine, and its complex structure made content management difficult for non-technical staff. To address these front-end and back-end issues, WUAS partnered with the vendor AnyforSoft for a project involving UI/UX design and web development.

AnyforSoft implemented a comprehensive solution using Drupal 10, creating a mobile-first theme and a new paragraph-based content structure to simplify editing. They improved the internal search functionality, introduced local video hosting to bypass regional restrictions, and automated dependency management. The results included high performance scores in Lighthouse testing, faster and more relevant search results, and uninterrupted global access to video content, transforming the website into a stable, scalable, and user-friendly strategic asset.
