Shaping the next Generation of Media Professionals from Home

ARD.ZDF medienakademie, a non-profit educational institution serving broadcasters and other media professionals, needed a way to deliver software trainings remotely without requiring participants to install anything on their own PCs. The organization also had to meet the operational requirements of 12 broadcasters while ensuring the solution was suitable for a controlled IT environment and compliant from a data protection perspective. AnyDesk was selected as the remote access platform.

With AnyDesk, ARD.ZDF medienakademie could securely provide access to its specialized on-site IT environment from anywhere, using end-to-end encryption, low latency, and an easily downloadable client embedded in its learning management system. The solution enabled flexible online workshops, reduced travel time and costs, and supported branded course delivery. Results included rollout to 12 media houses, 1,400 online courses, 18,000 registered users, and 150,000 registrations in the first year.
