Italian Community Implements AnyDesk for Remote Work Within a Short Period of Time

The Community of Udine, an Italian town serving around 100,000 residents with about 800 employees, needed a fast and secure way to move roughly 500 staff to remote work during the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020. To keep municipal IT systems accessible from home, the city needed a solution that was quick to deploy, easy to integrate, and reliable enough for secure teleworking. AnyDesk was the remote access tool evaluated and selected for this challenge.

AnyDesk was implemented to provide secure remote access to office workstations and remote support for employees, without requiring installation on home computers and with only a quick setup on office machines. The solution supported up to 400 simultaneous sessions, helping the Community of Udine maintain smooth operations, ensure security and reliability, and enable fast, trouble-free remote work for its staff.
