Colombian University Implements Remote Access for Class Participation

Areandina University, a major private university in Colombia with campuses and education centers across the country, needed a more flexible way to deliver virtual classrooms and let students use campus software from home. Its existing setup was expensive and hard to adapt, especially for students using less powerful personal devices. AnyDesk was chosen to provide remote access to campus computers and applications, with integration into the university’s environment via REST API.

AnyDesk implemented a customized solution that connected to Areandina University’s campus systems in just one week. Students can download the lightweight 3.7 MB app without installation, access university devices remotely, and be logged off automatically when their session ends. The result was seamless performance, simpler e-learning, and flexible access from anywhere, supported by 700 AnyDesk licenses and free access for students.
