UNAVCO, a geoscience research nonprofit, needed a way to plot real-time GPS positions from more than 300 stations, along with time-series meteorological data, on its website. The organization also needed interactive scaling and scrolling for large datasets, and chose Anychart’s AnyStock to handle these demanding visualization requirements.

Anychart implemented AnyStock, a stock and financial charting solution for time-based data, enabling real-time streaming without reloading plots plus rich pan and zoom controls. The result was fast loading and strong interactive performance for time-series sets with several thousand points, and UNAVCO said it planned to expand AnyStock use across many more data sets.
