Rockford Corp. Chooses AnyChart Solution for Industry’s First Online Woofer Modeling Application

Rockford Corporation, a consumer goods and electronic equipment company, needed a way to turn owner’s manual PDF information into an easy-to-use web application for its RFTECH:Woofer BoxAdvisor. The company also wanted to replace static screenshots with interactive charts and gauges, and make complex acoustical data easier to understand. Rockford Corporation used AnyChart to help power the site’s dynamic visualization needs.

AnyChart implemented logarithmic charts plus horizontal, vertical, and thermometer gauges with XML configuration and AJAX-driven interaction. This let Rockford Corporation replot theoretical and real in-car acoustical data in real time, while the logarithmic base-10 axis displayed a wide data range clearly without losing information. The result was an interactive online woofer modeling application that improved usability and made advanced acoustic data much easier to read.
