Oracle Chooses AnyChart Solution for Latest Release of Oracle® Application Express

Oracle needed to replace aging in-house SVG charting in Oracle Application Express and give developers an easy, out-of-the-box Flash charting capability. The company chose Anychart’s cross-platform charting solution to improve the charting experience in its web-based application development tool.

Anychart implemented 18 chart types using core-XML configuration, an AJAX-based on-the-fly chart configuration tool, and an SVG-to-Flash migration tool for Oracle Application Express Release 3.0. The upgrade significantly improved Oracle Application Express’s charting capabilities and helped support a user base of about 100,000 developers.
