How Indecomm is reinventing mortgage services with an Integrated Automation Platform

Indecomm Global Services, a 25-year-old provider of BPaaS and SaaS for the US mortgage industry, faced rising post-crisis complexity, massive volumes of unstructured loan documents, and the limits of traditional RPA. Seeking an end-to-end, flexible automation approach, Indecomm partnered with AntWorks and evaluated its Integrated Automation Platform, ANTstein, to support a vision of an “automation factory” that could ingest, identify, extract and curate document data across state-specific formats.

AntWorks’ ANTstein became the core of Indecomm’s AuditGenius SaaS offering, using Cognitive Machine Reading and integrated automation to audit 500+ page loan files, surface exceptions, and accelerate processing. The AntWorks-enabled solution improved speed and accuracy, allowed models trained for one client/state to be reused for others, and helped Indecomm shift its revenue mix from pure BPaaS to roughly one-third SaaS by the end of 2018, with a run rate targeted to reach 50% SaaS revenue by 2020—smoothing cyclical revenues and creating new, scalable product-led growth.
