The University of Missouri - Kansas City Alumni Association needed to update alumni employment records and identify volunteers after launching a new career resources webpage. To do this they partnered with Anthology (formerly iModules) and leveraged Anthology’s Encompass role‑based targeting to engage alumni and collect current professional profile information.
Anthology helped UMKC execute a three‑round segmented email campaign—initial outreach based on employer data, follow‑up messages tailored to respondents (volunteer info or thank‑yous), and a final push with a $50 gift‑card incentive for nonresponders. The campaign yielded updates from more than 1,500 alumni and recruited over 380 new volunteers, and UMKC plans further enhancements to its career resources landing page.
