The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) faced rising competition from state and out-of-state institutions and lacked an enterprise CRM to recruit, engage and retain students more strategically. To capture the right data and deliver personalized communications across the student lifecycle, UTRGV selected Anthology’s CampusNexus CRM to replace an unsupported system and provide cross-campus visibility for admissions, financial aid, registrars and faculty.

Anthology implemented CampusNexus CRM to create enterprise-wide insight and collaboration, enabling targeted recruitment, improved student engagement from recruitment through alumni relations, and a multi-year managed services partnership aligned to UTRGV’s strategic plan. The deployment delivered measurable gains: UTRGV’s first-year retention is nearly 80% (about 5–6 percentage points above national and state rates), and prospects with even three–six college hours are almost eight times more likely to graduate in four years, while alumni engagement and institutional alignment have also improved.
