University Improves Student Recruitment and Retention with New Student Information System

Cleveland University-Kansas City, a nonprofit chiropractic and health sciences college, needed to speed and enhance engagement with prospects and students without adding staff. To scale and automate processes and empower students with self-service, the institution implemented Anthology’s CampusNexus Student solution, including CRM, financial aid automation, student self-service, and workflow/forms capabilities.

Anthology implemented CRM analytics, new APIs and workflows, and financial aid automation to streamline admissions, aid processing, and student fulfillment. Results included a 1,000% improvement in email campaign response rates, a 98% reduction in prospect response time (from 24 hours to 30 minutes), 75% more student self-service options, a 35% improvement in processing accuracy, and automation of more than 25% of student accounts processing; online orientations/registrations and automated notifications also improved retention. Anthology’s solution helped Cleveland University-Kansas City earn recognition with the 2017 Excellence Award for Student Success.
