A Anthology Case Study
Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA), a private university in Santiago, Chile serving 30,000+ students across nine campuses, needed to simplify and modernize its digital learning ecosystem to boost student engagement and accessibility, reduce instructor workload, and enable data-driven decisions while rapidly scaling online offerings (online learners grew from about 100 in 2020 to ~6,000). UDLA partnered with Anthology and adopted the Blackboard learning platform along with Anthology Ally, Anthology Evaluate and Anthology Illuminate to support its transformation.
Anthology implemented a full migration to Blackboard Ultra (completed early 2024) and deployed Ally, Evaluate and Illuminate plus AI-enabled course templates and an AI Design Assistant to streamline instructional design. The result: student satisfaction rose 10% overall (2022–2025) and 13% for online learners, online program retention increased from 60% in 2023 to 68% in 2025, course development efficiency improved across 10,000+ courses, accessibility rates climbed with a target of 100% by 2025, and consolidated evaluation and analytics drove clearer insights—outcomes achieved through a collaborative Anthology–UDLA partnership.
