RMCAD Goes 100% Online with Cloud-Based Student Information System

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD), a Denver-based art and design college, needed to maintain academics, operations, and student engagement when COVID-19 closed campus facilities. To extend the full campus experience to mobile devices and ensure data integrity during a cloud migration, RMCAD partnered with Anthology to deploy CampusNexus Student (cloud-based on Microsoft Azure), a CampusNexus mobile portal powered by Ready Education, and Anthology’s Managed Services.

Anthology’s cloud CampusNexus Student and Managed Services let RMCAD pivot rapidly to fully online operations—by March 16, 2020 all courses were converted with LMS integrations automatically picking up newly created sections. The Ready Education-powered mobile portal put the full campus experience on students’ smartphones (the app went from zero to launch in six months), and Anthology’s Managed Services preserved relational data integrity and provided embedded support, enabling a four-person IT team to sustain 1,500 students and seamless remote operations.
