A Anthology Case Study
Albizu University in Puerto Rico faced a cultural and academic challenge: shifting faculty practice toward inclusive, multi‑format teaching that supports Gardner’s multiple intelligences and improves learning for all students. To address this, the university adopted Anthology’s Blackboard Ally in 2018 to make digital course content more accessible and to encourage educators to create higher‑quality, versatile materials.
Anthology’s Blackboard Ally integrated with Albizu’s LMS to scan content, generate accessibility reports and ML‑driven remediation recommendations, and offer one‑click alternate formats (e.g., audio), supported by faculty training. The result: roughly 80% faculty adoption across three campuses, about 2,600 students positively impacted, noticeable improvements in content quality, greater flexibility in how students learn, and reported gains in student motivation, retention and peer recommendations — outcomes attributed to Anthology’s solution.
