Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, an independent organization serving roughly 240,000 alumni worldwide, needed to grow memberships and dues revenue by making joining and renewals easier and more measurable online. To do this they partnered with Anthology, using the iModules platform and its Encompass email marketing tool to better target alumni and surface membership status across the alumni website.
Anthology helped implement segmented email campaigns (by age, region, and past membership), integrated profile data into emails and site pages, and created member-only site areas to drive value. The results were rapid: last fiscal year 34% of new joins came in online (dues $58,800; renewals $51,406), and this year more than $186,000 in joins and renewals have already been raised online—putting OSU well ahead of its revenue goals and producing year-over-year membership growth with Anthology’s solution.
