Northwestern University Raises More Than $300K in One Day

Northwestern University partnered with Anthology, using the iModules Encompass platform and iModules tools (Website & Content Management, Online Giving, Email Marketing, Social Networking Integration, Dynamic News Module) to improve their #GivingTuesday performance. Their specific challenge was to beat the 2013 results of 238 donors and $93,469 raised in a single-day giving campaign.

Anthology helped implement a dynamic campaign with a $50,000 matching gift kickoff, hourly giveaways, alumni video appeals, The Giving Grid to link funds to causes, real-time fundraising updates, and a Social Media Kit to drive promotion and targeted email segmentation. The effort raised nearly $320,000 (3.4× 2013), engaged more than 700 donors (almost triple the prior year), and generated nearly 1,000,000 #CATSGiveBack impressions across Twitter and Instagram.
