How Keiser University achieved its “student first” mission and boosted retention

Keiser University, a private four‑year institution with 21 campuses and more than 19,000 students, needed an integrated educational‑technology platform to deliver a “student first” personalized learning experience after previous point solutions fell short. Keiser selected Anthology and its suite — including Blackboard Learn, Analytics for Learn, Blackboard Outcomes, and Anthology Ally — to support fast course cycles, campus-level customization, and institutionwide visibility into student progress.

Anthology implemented a unified ecosystem: Blackboard Learn for rapid course development and a master course system, Analytics for Learn dashboards for each campus to spot at‑risk students, Blackboard Outcomes to map and track PLOs/SLOs, and Anthology Ally to improve content accessibility. With Anthology’s consulting support, Keiser reported historically high retention in 2020, seamless transition to fully online delivery during COVID‑19, and greater accountability and visibility across the university through campus dashboards and outcome tracking.
