Expanding Engage adoption across campus

University of Kentucky partnered with Anthology, adopting the Engage student engagement platform after migrating from OrgSync to better capture organization officer, membership and event attendance data. Their challenge was to turn fragmented co‑curricular data into campus‑wide, data‑informed strategies that expedite processes and support students outside the classroom.

Anthology helped UK integrate Engage via its API into the campus SAP HANA system, configure fields for memberships and key-event attendance, and enable easy, hardware-free attendance tracking. The result was rapid cross‑department adoption (Residence Life, Fraternity & Sorority Life, advising and analytics), real‑time event data used in predictive retention models, the “Wildcat Way” pathway to support first‑year students, and recognition as a Campus Labs All‑Star—demonstrating clear impact on retention analytics and engagement workflows.
