A Anthology Case Study
Erskine College, a small private four-year institution in South Carolina, faced scattered, inconsistent assessment data and was put on warning by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). To address the accreditation risk and build ongoing assessment capacity, Erskine engaged Anthology, adopting Anthology’s assessment platform and Student Response System to centralize data and streamline outcome measurement.
Anthology provided a dedicated consultant, training, and tools to create rubrics, surveys and real-time student feedback processes, enabling campus-wide adoption even among initially resistant faculty. Within nine months Erskine produced assessment results, evidence of actions taken and plans for the year—satisfying SACS’s follow-up—and over 12–18 months Anthology’s solution helped create a sustained culture of assessment, improved faculty data use, and generated measurable longitudinal student feedback.
