Empowering educators with effective digital teaching and learning practices to boost student performance

ADA University in Azerbaijan sought to boost student performance by embedding technology into its teaching and learning, introducing a new Learn LMS but facing uneven faculty skills and resistance to non‑traditional methods. To accelerate large‑scale adoption, ADA University partnered with Anthology and used Anthology’s Digital Teaching and Learning Series (DTLS) to professionalize faculty practice and align the LMS with the university’s pedagogical goals.

Anthology delivered hands‑on DTLS workshops and certifications (on campus and remote) to ADA’s 125 faculty and key support staff, with all expected to be certified by mid‑2020; a trained cohort of faculty support specialists now helps onboard new or visiting staff. As a result, Anthology’s program has driven rising LMS adoption, higher student engagement, improved communication and feedback, better course organization and, in some cases, reduced office hours thanks to more efficient online grading.
