Dartmouth College - Customer Case Study

Dartmouth College launched a yearlong Call to Serve as part of its 250th‑anniversary celebration to honor its legacy of leadership in public service and deepen engagement with alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and families. To support the initiative, Dartmouth used Anthology (formerly iModules) to power a new, dynamic section of the Dartmouth Alumni website where volunteers could find and organize projects, track service hours, and monitor progress toward the anniversary goal.

Anthology’s platform enabled the college to coordinate and report on volunteer activity worldwide; halfway through the anniversary year the Call to Serve had already recorded more than 165,000 service hours toward a 250,000‑hour goal. The initiative drove broad participation across communities (Alumni 32%, Students 61%, Faculty & Staff 6%, Parents & Families 1%) and helped Dartmouth rapidly scale local events and volunteer tracking via the Anthology‑powered alumni site.
