A Anthology Case Study
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Division of Student Life faced time-consuming, siloed assessment practices and limited visibility into unit-level impact, making it hard to demonstrate student affairs’ value to senior leadership. To address this, UTK adopted Anthology’s Campus Labs Student Affairs Assessment Solution — using Planning, Baseline, and Program Review — to standardize reporting, remove data silos, and build a shared language of assessment across departments.
Anthology deployed Planning dashboards to review unit and division progress in minutes, Baseline workflows to approve surveys and prevent survey fatigue, and Program Review templates aligned to CAS standards to broaden stakeholder engagement. These tools made assessment easier to monitor and export, preserved historical data for transitions, increased institutional recognition of student affairs, improved collaboration with Registrar and IT, and helped UTK earn a 2019 Trailblazer award for transparency and impact.
