Centre College faced a weak online fundraising presence and no integrated email marketing solution, limiting alumni engagement and online donations. They turned to Anthology, using its integrated online giving and email-marketing tools (the iModules platform) to build a unified, easy-to-manage communications and giving program that could be run by the development and alumni teams without technical support.
Anthology’s solution combined targeted email marketing, online giving forms and social promotion (including Facebook Connect), enabling Centre to achieve nearly a 30% email open rate, save more than $30,000 in postage, and process over $170,000 in online gifts in the last fiscal year. A single end-of-year email/video campaign generated more than $24,000 in about a week, helping Centre become one of Anthology’s top fundraisers among small organizations and a leading online fundraiser in its peer group.
