Anthesis worked with Unite Students to ensure compliance with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) and the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) regulations. The challenge involved identifying energy-saving measures across their extensive property portfolio and creating a robust business case for investment.

The solution involved developing a detailed carbon management tool that could simulate the effects of various energy conservation measures on EPC ratings, carbon emissions, and costs. As a result, Anthesis helped identify approximately £150 million in lifetime savings and provided Unite Students with a user-friendly model for future planning and continued carbon reduction.
