Net Zero Strategy for Southway Housing Trust

Anthesis supported Southway Housing Trust in developing a comprehensive net zero carbon strategy. The Trust, which manages nearly 6,000 homes, needed a pathway to decarbonize its housing portfolio and operations following a pledge to reach Net Zero by 2038.

The solution involved Anthesis establishing an emissions baseline, conducting energy modelling of the housing stock, and engaging stakeholders. This work resulted in a detailed strategy that defines the actions required to eliminate 30,000 tonnes of carbon emissions. The Anthesis strategy was instrumental in reframing the Trust's broader approach and engaging colleagues at all levels on decarbonization.
