Housing 21 Network Upgrades for Reliable and Cost Effective Heating

Housing 21, a provider of retirement housing and care services, faced challenges with unreliable, costly, and inefficient heating systems across its properties. They partnered with sustainability activator Anthesis to optimize performance, achieve cost savings, and improve resident comfort. Anthesis provided analysis, design, and specification services for new heating and hot water systems.

Anthesis surveyed over 100 sites and provided optimized designs for upgrades, along with a new build specification to prevent future issues. They also secured over £35,000 in Energy Company Obligation funding for the project. The solution delivered by Anthesis resulted in more efficient and resilient heating systems, reducing operational costs and ensuring consistent comfort for residents.
