Steadman and Son (Steadman’s), a division of SIG Building Solutions, is a major steel cladding and roofing supplier that sought to demonstrate its commitment to responsible sourcing to its customers. The company engaged Anthesis for support in achieving BES 6001 certification to provide assurance from social, ethical, and environmental perspectives.

Anthesis conducted a gap analysis and mock site audit to prepare the client for the formal certification process. Following the implementation of their recommendations, Steadman’s achieved a ‘Good’ BES 6001 rating. The work by Anthesis not only secured certification but also helped the company formalize its sustainability approach, leading to operational efficiencies and a stronger market position.
