A Anthesis Case Study

Preview of the Network Homes Case Study

Anthesis project managed the installation of a programme of cavity wall and loft insulation across 1,400 of Network Homes’ properties to improve energy efficiency

Network Homes, a housing provider, identified a critical need to improve the energy efficiency of its properties across London and Hertfordshire to reduce resident fuel bills and mitigate the risk of fuel poverty. To address this challenge, they partnered with the sustainability activator Anthesis to implement energy conservation measures.

Anthesis reviewed the housing stock and determined the most efficient solution was a program of loft and cavity wall insulation. They managed the entire project, secured Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding, and utilized their contractor network to install insulation in 1,433 properties. The program saves residents £166,671 annually on fuel bills and has saved 12,882 tonnes of CO2 to date, with the project receiving a special commendation at the National Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards.
