University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust sought to build a business case for securing Salix funding to implement energy efficiency technologies across its estate. The trust engaged Anthesis to identify opportunities and develop a robust funding application to achieve significant energy savings.

Anthesis conducted estate-wide audits to identify the most promising energy-saving opportunities. They delivered detailed business cases and handled the funding applications for a package of measures including LED lighting, BMS upgrades, and AHU refurbishments. This work identified £550,000 in annual cost savings for the trust with a combined payback period of under five years.
