Lagardère APAC Travel Retail Loyalty Programs

Lagardère Travel Retail, a major travel retail brand across airports and transport hubs in APAC, needed to overhaul its legacy loyalty offerings during the Covid-19 downturn to add sophisticated earn & burn logic, tiers, personalization, and social shopping on WeChat. To meet these goals they partnered with Antavo, using Antavo’s Loyalty Management Platform and Display API to power integrated programs and a WeChat Mini App experience.

Antavo rebuilt Lagardère’s two programs — Boulevard de Luxe and Voyage — into interconnected, API-driven loyalty systems with unified spend, tiering, non-transactional incentives, and WeChat enrollment, earning and redemption features; the rollout took just two months and cut customization costs to nearly zero. The result: over 1.8 million members in Mainland China, engagement and traffic nearly back to pre-Covid levels, and a renewed, revenue-driving loyalty channel for Lagardère.
