Epta, a multinational leader in commercial refrigeration, needed to run large-scale, 3-D transient CFD studies to evaluate airflow, pressure drops and thermal behavior across multiple refrigerated cabinet designs. To meet growing engineering demands and production peaks, Epta turned to ANSYS—using ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFD PrepPost and ANSYS HPC Pack (hosted via Gompute on Demand)—to enable deeper physics validation without overbuilding internal hardware.

ANSYS implemented a hosted HPC workflow that separates preprocessing and solver tasks and runs ANSYS Fluent on a Gompute cluster, giving Epta a ready-to-go environment for peak capacity.
