Increasing Speed of Application Deployment with Ansible

Fatmap, a London-based developer of highly detailed 3D ski and adventure maps, faced a slow, complex application build process. Their 3D gaming–based pipeline required lengthy meta-programming and data processing, and deployments were slowed further by a heterogeneous environment of Windows, macOS and Linux machines.

Fatmap adopted Red Hat Ansible’s agentless automation and simple Playbooks to consolidate deployment best practices and automate multi-tier application delivery across their mixed infrastructure. The result was reduced complexity, significant time savings and improved scalability—faster, more predictable deployments, better team utilization and seamless integration across disparate systems.
