Silverfort, an identity protection platform, needed a better way to manage GRC and evidence collection after its new CISO, John Paul Cunningham, found the existing process tedious and overly reliant on back-and-forth with auditors. Although the company already had a license for anecdotes, it wanted to expand usage of the anecdotes Compliance OS and make better use of the platform.

Using anecdotes, Silverfort set up 15 integrations to automate evidence collection, map evidence across controls and frameworks, and eliminate duplicate work through cross-mapping. The result was a smoother collaboration with auditors, faster issue closure, and a successful SOC 2 audit; Silverfort also gained clearer visibility into audit progress and plans to use anecdotes for future audits including ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR, and NIST Cybersecurity.
