Building a continuous learning culture with embedded curated content

Hitachi Rail Europe, the rolling stock manufacturing division of Hitachi, needed a way to keep learning content fresh and relevant for global teams but lacked the time and specialist search skills to continuously curate web content. To solve this gap the L&D team adopted the Anders Pink curation tool, using Anders Pink’s API and LMS plugin to surface and filter timely articles and briefings directly into their Totara Learning Management System.

Anders Pink sources and filters topic-based briefings (e.g., leadership, safety, rail industry updates), maps them to competencies and learning programmes, and embeds live or hand‑picked content in the LMS. The result is faster content sourcing and inspiration for a small L&D team, easier access to real‑world microlearning in 5–10 minute bursts, and progress toward a continuous learning culture with more up‑to‑date, workflow‑embedded resources provided by Anders Pink.
