Autoliv unifies GEO for 2,500 users with Andea

Autoliv, a Fortune 500 automotive safety supplier, embarked on an initiative to implement a unique Global Engineering Order (GEO) solution to consolidate numerous homegrown systems for its prototyping activities. The challenge was to utilize the DELMIA Apriso MOM platform to create a centralized, high-performance system for over 6,500 users that could integrate with other systems like PLM/Enovia and support local deviations while meeting very tight timelines.

Andea Solutions was selected as the strategic delivery partner to implement this solution using a semi-agile methodology. The results included a unified system that provided full global visibility, improved work efficiency for warehouse and engineering users, and enabled sophisticated data analysis through customized reports. The successful Phase 1 deployment connected three factories and approximately 2,500 users to one central server, equipping them with improved processes to reduce lead times and costs.
