JSC «Surgutneftegas» (SNG), a progressive oil and gas company in Surgut, Russia, faced continuous technology and process change that outpaced its manual, document-based training. SNG needed a reliable, on-the-job self-service solution to keep employees productive, reduce dependence on classroom training, and improve user adoption of frequent system upgrades.
SNG implemented ANCILE uPerform to create and deliver work instructions and eLearning where employees work, developing roughly 4,970 work instruction documents and 509 eLearning courses and deploying local servers for slow sites. The centralized, easy-to-use portal reduced support calls and user errors, avoided hiring extra support staff, and made employees more self-sufficient with consistent, accessible performance support.
