Migros - Customer Case Study

Migros, Switzerland’s largest retail cooperative group, needed a single, easy-to-use documentation platform to serve ten regional cooperatives and a wide range of business units. The existing SAP Knowledge Warehouse would have required a major upgrade and the previous RWD solution was no longer supported, so Migros sought a multiproject, multilingual tool that required no expert authoring skills and could provide barrier-free access to process and training documents across regions and languages.

Migros implemented ANCILE uPerform (go‑ahead Nov 2011; go‑live Mar 5, 2012) to centralize authoring, publishing, simulations and contextual help. Today roughly 7,000 documents and more than 700 business processes are available to ~84,000 employees in German, French and Italian (and supported in 30+ languages), delivering consistent, up-to-date documentation, easier self-service (reducing first-level support), simpler workflows for authors, and measurable gains in efficiency and usability.
