A Anaqua Case Study
Novo Nordisk, a global pharmaceutical leader in diabetes care, tasked its 65-person, geographically dispersed IP team with managing a growing patent portfolio using a legacy, internally developed system (with a 2002 document-management add-on). That fragmented setup created multiple user interfaces, a steep learning curve, frequent downtime and data-quality risks that hindered daily work and productivity.
Following a multi-year, KPI-driven evaluation, Novo Nordisk implemented the ANAQUA Enterprise Platform using its NOVO methodology to prioritize usability, stability and cost control. The result: daily use by staff increased 120%, costs fell by 40%, staff were fully productive within weeks, and final surveys showed marked improvements in system adoption, data accuracy and routine workflows (for example, easy access to due-date calendars).
