A Ampsy Case Study
Jimmy Kimmel Live hosted its annual Back to Brooklyn event and needed a way to aggregate all audience-generated content from the four-day run into one discoverable place to encourage sharing and supply material for future marketing. To solve this, the show worked with Ampsy, which used a geofenced perimeter, the Ampsy Dashboard, and a branded visualization embedded on a Tumblr page to capture and showcase attendee posts in real time.
Ampsy’s implementation captured thousands of posts from October 19–23, streaming them to the Tumblr aggregation page and enabling immediate visibility and ongoing reuse. The result was strong audience engagement, a persistent archive for fans to revisit and share, and a rich pool of content for Jimmy Kimmel Live’s future promotional efforts.
