TicketSwap, Europe’s largest ticketing marketplace based in Amsterdam, needed a better way to understand user behavior and improve its buy and sell funnels as it expanded into new global markets. The Performance Marketing team was struggling with poor-quality data in its previous analytics platform and couldn’t easily diagnose where users were dropping off or why campaigns were underperforming.

With Amplitude Analytics and Amplitude Activation, TicketSwap built custom dimensions to track funnel error messages, segmented affected users with Audiences, and synced those segments to paid search, paid social, and CRM campaigns to bring users back. Amplitude helped drive a 15% uplift in sales funnel completion, improved unsold ticket rates by two percentage points in established markets and five points in Italy and Brazil, and contributed to around a 10% revenue increase; campaigns also became profitable in three months instead of a year or more.
