Drata, a compliance automation company, used Amplitude to better understand user behavior across its platform while protecting sensitive customer data. The team needed to identify where users were getting stuck during onboarding and which compliance tasks were slowing adoption, especially for role-specific workflows.
Using Amplitude Analytics, Drata analyzed funnels and customer journeys, then tested an update that allowed task exclusions for specific categories, groups, or users. With Amplitude, Drata achieved a 4x increase in feature adoption, with 2,000 customers and about 13,000 exclusions implemented—far above the original forecast.
