Haven, one of the UK’s largest holiday providers, needed a better analytics platform after its Google Analytics setup had become disorganized and hard for non-specialists to use. As part of a digital transformation, Haven’s Head of Analytics Dan Grainger evaluated Google’s GA4 beta and concluded it wasn’t the right fit, then began looking at Amplitude and its analytics and data management capabilities.
Amplitude helped Haven migrate from Google Analytics to a single Amplitude project and build tailored onboarding and training for different teams, including sales and experience users. With Amplitude and Amplitude Data, Haven improved data governance, made analytics easier for product, marketing, and engineering teams to adopt, and completed a successful in-house migration that users responded to very positively.
