Correcto, a fast-growing Spanish writing product, needed to improve activation and retention in its Chrome Extension onboarding flow. Despite strong acquisition and hundreds of thousands of downloads, the team saw users drop off before engaging with core writing suggestions, so they used Amplitude Analytics to understand where the funnel was failing and where users were losing value.
With Amplitude, Correcto redesigned onboarding, tested changes with feature flags and cohorts, and used session replay and event tracking to guide product and growth decisions. The results were strong: activation rose from 17.4% in July 2024 to 53.5% in March 2025, a 208% increase, while 30-day retention reached 64.3% and 90-day retention hit 46.4%.
