Leading US Hospital partnered with Amplifire to address a persistent patient safety challenge: preventing hospital-acquired pressure injuries. Despite established best practices, pressure injuries continued to occur, creating avoidable harm and significant non-reimbursable costs for the health system.

Using Amplifire’s adaptive e-learning platform, the hospital assessed and remediated nurses’ confidently held misinformation and uncertainty across pressure injury topics. The program identified 9,893 instances of confidently held misinformation and 1,902 instances of uncertainty among 1,405 nurses, then guided learners to mastery so that 100% of completing nurses finished confident and correct, with analytics helping leaders target further interventions.
