Leading National Children’s Hospital - Customer Case Study

Leading National Children’s Hospital partnered with Amplifire to address pediatric sepsis, a high-risk condition where early recognition and evidence-based treatment are critical. The hospital needed a scalable way to improve clinicians’ knowledge, reduce variation in care, and identify gaps in understanding across doctors, nurses, and advanced practitioners.

Using Amplifire’s adaptive learning platform, the hospital trained 1,095 clinicians on pediatric sepsis, with the system pinpointing confidently held misinformation and uncertainty in real time. Amplifire found 2,865 instances of confidently held misinformation and 7,216 instances of uncertainty, then remediated them so that 100% of course completers finished confident and correct, while also revealing key topics where prior knowledge ranged widely and guiding more efficient training times.
