Leading Medical Board Organization, a large medical board responsible for physician certification, needed a better way to help physicians maintain their knowledge through self-paced learning modules. It evaluated Amplifire’s training software against its existing certification modules to see which approach more effectively improved learning in two medical specialties.

Amplifire provided its adaptive learning platform for the comparison, and an independent third party tested 162 physicians using a neutral post-test. The results showed substantially stronger knowledge gains with Amplifire: in one specialty, improvement was 25% versus 10% for the board software, and in the other, 19% versus 4%, meaning Amplifire improved physicians’ knowledge more than twice as much overall.
