The Largest Kidney Care Company, one of the largest kidney-care providers in the United States, needed a better way to train dialysis technicians on contamination and infection prevention, which are critical to patient safety and avoiding unreimbursed costs. The company worked with Amplifire and compared its training approach against a standard 15-minute training video.

Amplifire’s adaptive training was used in a pilot study with pre- and post-tests conducted one month apart. The results showed that Amplifire produced an 80.9% gain in knowledge, versus 40.4% for the standard video—more than double the improvement—demonstrating that Amplifire made dialysis training 100% more effective than traditional training.
